Reforms have been initiated in the Anti-Corruption Establishment Department, Ikramullah Dharejo

Karachi  (HRNW) Provincial Minister for Industries & Commerce and Anti-Corruption & Cooperative Department Jam Ikramullah Dharejo has said that reforms have been initiated in the department to improve the performance of Anti-Corruption Establishment Department Sindh which will soon have positive effects. He said this in an interview in his office today. He said that like NAB, Anti-Corruption Establishment Sindh did not have the power of bargaining and it had been decided to amend anti-corruption laws. Legislation process would be started soon.
Provincial Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharejo added, ‘ In order to improve the performance of the staff of Sindh Anti-Corruption Department
Talks are underway with various instructions to train anti-corruption personnel. Sindh Chief Minister and Bilawal Bhutto also want reforms. We believe in enhancing staff capacity against white collar crimes. He said that anti-corruption staff was working indiscriminately to eradicate corruption in the province. Let the people unite against corruption and identify the corrupt elements.
Provincial Minister for Industries & Commerce and Anti-Corruption & Cooperative Department Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said that the recent rains had caused a lot of damage in Sindh. Human populations as well as standing crops had also been severely damaged. He said that the losses in Mirpur Khas, Badin and Umerkot were huge but the Sindh government was providing all possible assistance to the people affected by the rains.
