Karachi (HRNW) KDA Work Charge Joint Action Committee today staged a protest outside the office of the Director General. Officials said in a statement that today, KDA’s four major Unions; KDA Employee’s Union, KDA Watan Parast Labour Union, KDA Labour Union & KDA Staff Union agrees on a page for rehabilitating of Work Charge Employees which is welcomed.
They further said that according to the Constitution of Pakistan & KDA’s Service Rules Book all the work charge employees have been regular. The members of the scrutiny committee has been delibrately working slow in return for bribery for last one year. Officers have spread bureaucracy in the institution and KDA Management have been blinded by the enmity of Work Charge Employees.
If the quick scrutiny results of Work Charge Employees do not shown, the main road in front of Civic Center will be blocked next week and will hold a press conference against the Management at the Karachi Press Club in full resistance. They further said that the KDA Administration is taking the grants of Work Charge employees to their homes meanwhile the work charge employees are starving.
