Selection of anthem for the Beijing Festival is a great honor, Saman Rai

Lahore (HRNW) The Instrumental National Anthem produced by the Lahore Arts Council has been selected by Chinese Foreign Ministry for the annual festival held in Beijing, the capital of China. In connection with this honor the Executive Director of the Lahore Arts Council Saman Rai has said that it is a great honor that they select the anthem for the Beijing Festival. She said that it will further enhanced Pakistan’s soft image around the world. Rai said that This is not only the success of Alhamra but the success of the whole Pakistan as musical instruments was from all parts of Pakistan were used in the recording of the anthem. Rai further said that our goal was national unity and the good name of our country and nation at the international level which was fulfilled, for which we are grateful for everyone. She stated that when we released this anthem, every Pakistani was impressed by it and shared it on various mediums to spread our effort, it was a true honor for us that the Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and many other high profile personalities tweeted about it. The performers deserve congratulations. The anthem was released on the occasion of Independence Day, in which more than 25 musical instruments were used. Saman Rai also appreciates the efforts of the Pakistani Embassy in Beijing, that Alhamra is being praised in literary and cultural circles around the world. It is a great thing that the anthem is so popular and selected on such a large scale,she added.
