Visit of ASPs (UT) from National Police Academy, Islamabad at CPLC Sindh

Karachi (HRNW) ASPs of 47th specialized training program (23rd ICC) getting training at National Police Academy visited CPLC Sindh Central Reporting Cell at Sindh Governor House where they were given a warm welcome by Mr. Abid Ozair – Chief CPLC East and Mr. Ali Haji – Asst. Chief CPLC CRC of CPLC Sindh.

The participants were taken to various sections of CPLC Sindh Central Reporting cell and were briefed about the working and achievements made by CPLC Sindh in the last 25 years especially in the recent past. ASPs who are under training at Pakistan Police Academy Islamabad took keen interest in the overall functioning of CPLC Sindh.

Participants visited CPLC’s newly upgraded 24/7 Call Center where more than 3200 calls per day related to Emergencies, Enquiries, Verifications, Complaints, etc. are handled meticulously. Participants showed great interest in the functioning and operations of this Call Center.

The participants were given a presentation on CPLC’s working, organizational outreach, core activities, functions and achievements made so far in bridging the gap between law enforcement agencies and citizens. CPLC’s assistance to LEAs in combatting crimes, sharing of information with LEAs for prevention of crimes, providing a conducive environment for people to live and work through neighbourhood care projects, providing quality education at welfare based schools of Karachi where special preference is given to police children and poor masses and CPLC’s efforts for continuous improvement in its services were highly appreciated by participants. CPLC’s volunteerism was highly appreciated by the visiting ASPs.

The ASPs presented a vote of thanks to CPLC Sindh along with a memento. The CPLC team assured all cooperation to the police officials.
