Hyderabad (HRNW) Mohammad Abbas Baloch, Divisional Commissioner, Hyderabad, in exercising of powers under section 144(6) of Cr. P. C. delegated by Home Department, Government of Sindh, imposed complete ban on aerial firing on the eve of New Year 2021 night within the local limits of Hyderabad Division.
In order, the Commissioner authorized the police officers not below the rank of Inspector of concerned Police Stations of Hyderabad Division to register the complaints under section 188 P. C. in writing for the violation of section 144 Cr. P. C. against the violation of issued order.
The order further elaborates that such ban on aerial firing or any other unlawful activities on the eve of New Year 202 night, was imposed in order to avoid and avert any untoward incident which may cause threat to public life and property.
