Italian Ambassador Andreas Ferraris visited Lahore Arts Council

Lahore (HRNW) The Italian Ambassador to Pakistan Andreas Ferraris visited Lahore Arts Council here on Tuesday at Alhamra Arts Center, the Mall. He was received by Chairperson Board of Governors Lahore Arts Council Moneeza Hashmi and Executive Director Alhamra Saman Rai. Cultural activities were discussed during the meeting and commitment to work together under mutual understanding was welcomed by both sides.

During the visit he took keen interest in various sections of Alhamra includes Alhamra Art Gallery, Alhamra academy of Performing Arts, Alhamra Studio, Alhamra Research Centre and other departments. While praising the beauty of Alhamra Italian Ambassador Andreas Ferraris said that, the cultural beauty of Pakistan is commendable, Alhamra is the cultural identity of Pakistan globally.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairperson Alhamra Moneeza Hashmi said that Pakistan is a land of love, the world appreciates our values.

Executive Director Saman Rai briefed him in detail about the literary and cultural activities of Lahore Arts Council and said that Alhamra’s platform has the honor of hosting cultural colors from all over the world.

Chairperson Alhamra Moneeza Hashmi and Executive Director Saman Rai presented souvenirs to the Ambassador of Italy and expressed the best wishes of the people of Italy.

Director Alhamra Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi, Honorary consulate general Fahad Iqbal, Secretary of the Italian Consulate Riaz Hussain were also present.
