Alhamra Observed Kashmir Solidarity Day

Lahore  (HRNW) The Lahore Art Council has organized a rally to show solidarity with the people of Kashmir on “Kashmir Solidarity Day” here on 5th Feb at Alhamra Art Center, the Mall Road. The Executive Director Alhamra, Dr. Aslam Dogar, led the rally from Alhamra to Mall Road. Alhamra’s Officers, employees, and other audiences raised their voices in favor of the Kashmiri people.

On the occasion, Dr. Aslam Dogar said that the International Community and the United Nations have to fulfill their ‘Responsibility to Protect’ innocent Kashmiris from crimes against humanity being committed by occupying military forces in the State of Jammu & Kashmir. Dr. Aslam said that Alhamra will always support Kashmiris until they attain their inalienable right of self-determination. In the time of need, all Pakistani are standing with Kashmiris. “Kashmir dispute is an internationally recognized issue and needs to be resolve following the UNSC resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri people, he added.

Besides the rally, Alhamra, in collaboration with Punjab University, organized a three-day long activity titled “Kashmir Solidarity Mission” from 5th Feb. The activities of the events start from 2.p.m; onwards, and the programs include, Theatre, Mime, Film, Music, Dress Show, Craft, Painting, Posters, and Food Stalls. The “Kashmir Solidarity Mission will continue till 7th Feb to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir.
