Karachi (HRNW)- Provincial Minister for Industries & Commerce and Anti-Corruption & Cooperative Department Jam Ikramullah Dharejo has categorically rejected the Presidential Ordinance on Senate Elections. Pakistan Peoples Party rejects presidential ordinance for senate elections because the presidential ordinance for the Senate election is malicious. Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said in a statement that the purpose of the Presidential Ordinance was a failed attempt to quell the insurgency in the PTI members of the National and Provincial Assemblies. The incompetence of the selected government has angered its own members of the Assembly and a Presidential Ordinance has been issued to control these members of the Assembly.
He further said that the failure of PTI in the by-elections was also due to the incompetence of the selected government and now the federal government was making confused and inverted decisions. Provincial Minister for Industries & Commerce and Anti-Corruption and Cooperative Department Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said that the people had also become disillusioned with the present federal government due to inflation. The selected government was clearly failing in the Senate elections.
He said that implementation of the Presidential Ordinance before the Supreme Court’s decision is the beginning of the rigging. The people will no longer be fooled by any change and will hold the selected federal government accountable for its wrong deeds. He requested the Supreme Court to take immediate notice of the matter so that the alleged rigging in the Senate elections could be stopped.
