The issue of allotment of shops to the victims of KMC still unresolved

Karachi (HRNW) The victims of the Karachi Metropolitan City shops, which were demolished on a court order, could not find an alternative place. The issue of allotment of shops to the victims could not be resolved.

Some shops have been closed by the KMC State Department while others have not been built yet. The Karachi Metropolitan Municipality was to allot its 23 shops, which were demolished on court orders, to the tenants in new places. But so far many tenants have lost their jobs.

Administrator Karachi has assured that no one will be abused. Some tenants are reluctant to buy because of the distance. KMC is also facing huge losses due to collapse of Aram Bagh, Empress Market and Garden shops.
