Karachi (HRNW) AVLC New Karachi, Orangi and Clifton divisions arrested five accused. According to police, the arrested accused are involved in several incidents of looting and theft. Police also recovered five stolen motorcycles from the possession of the accused.
According to police, the accused used to sell motorcycle parts in the flea market after stealing. One of the arrested suspects has been caught by AVLC in the past and has a criminal record.
The arrested accused include Aftab son of Salahuddin, Arsalan son of Khurshid, Karim son of Janat Mir, Yaseen son of Bashir Ahmed, Majeed Ahmed son of Abdul Aziz. Legal proceedings and efforts for further arrests & recovery are underway.
The details of the motorcycles recovered from the possession of the accused are as follows.
1. M/C No. KAY-6206 Super Star Stolen from PS N.K.I.A.
2. M/C No. KGV-2615 Union Star 70 Stolen from PS N.K.I.A
3. M/C No. KJG-9010 Unique 70 Stolen from PS N.K.I.A
4. M/C No. KMR-1148 United 125 Stolen from PS Pakistan Bazar.
5. M/C No. GTL-5386 Toyo 70 Stolen from PS Baloch Colony.
