PFUJ strongly condemned torture on Samaa TV reporter

Karachi (HRNW) G M Jamali President Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) and Secretary General Rana Muhammad Azeem have strongly condemned torture on Samaa TV reporter Sahil Jogi who was covering the murder of student Irfan Jatoi.

PFUJ leadership has demanded the Chairman PPP-P Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah and Inspector General of Police Mushtaq Ahmed Mahar to take action against those involved in torturing Sahil Jogi and registering FIR against him.

Asserting that the PFUJ and journalists fraternity stood with their confrere, G M Jamali and Rana Azeem had warned that if the case against Sahil Jogi has not quashed within 24 hours and action against those responsible of lodging the FIR has not been taken and Irfan Summon has not been suspended a countrywide protest would be launched.
