Protest of former SBCA employees for non-receipt of pension

KARACHI: (HRNW) Former employees of Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) have been deprived of their pensions for several months due to which stoves in their houses have started getting cold.

The victims also staged a sit-in in support of the demand. The financial crisis of Sindh Building Control Authority became serious.

Former employees and their families have been protesting against non-receipt of pension for several months. Irregularities have also come to light since the appointment of non-technical DGs in the organization. A sit-in was also called. Protesters dispersed on the assurance of early pension.

The SBCA Labor Union has also mobilized on the issue of pensions and has begun its efforts to resolve the issue. Retired employees of SBCA have demanded the Chief Minister Sindh to resolve the issue of pension.
