Women teachers marching towards CM House arrested in Karachi

Karachi (HRNW) Teachers protesting outside the Sindh Assembly once again marched to the Chief Minister’s House where a clash broke out between the police and the teachers. The teachers crossed the barriers and reached the CM House. Police arrested several teachers.

According to details As many as 20 women teachers were detained by the women police in Karachi on Monday after the protesting headmasters tried to march towards the CM House. The detained teachers have been moved to an undisclosed location.

The police baton-charged and physically assaulted the protesters who tried to force their way into the Red Zone.

Over 900 headmasters of government schools have been staging a sit-in outside the Sindh Assembly for a week now. They demand regularization of their jobs.
