Dortmund (dpa) – Borussia Dortmund’s young star player Youssoufa Moukoko will miss the rest of the season due to a ligament injury in his foot, the Bundesliga club said on Monday.
Moukoko suffered the injury during the group stage round of the under-21 Euros in Hungary.
In addition, Dortmund will be missing Jadon Sancho against Manchester City in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-finals.
Sancho, who has already missed the last few games due to persistent muscle problems, was not part of the squad who travelled to England on Monday, alongside Axel Witsel and Dan-Axel Zagadou, both of whom are suffering from persistent injuries.
