KARACHI: (HRNW) A sit-in of a religious party is underway at three places in Karachi. Traffic flow has been affected due to sit-ins at Korangi, Baldia Town and Star Gate. Angry protesters set fire to citizens’ motorcycles and a welfare organization booth.
Due to sit-in at Korangi traffic is being diverted to alternative routes. There is also a traffic jam on Hub River Road due to the sit-in.
Aerial firing and shelling were carried out on Baldia Town Hub River Road to disperse the protesters. Due to the shelling, the protesters dispersed for a while and went on strike again.
