CTD letter to IG, request to set up JIT for interrogation of terrorists

KARACHI: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has written a letter to the IG requesting it to set up a JIT to probe the terrorists of the banned nationalist organization.
The letter from DIG CTD Omar Shahid said that two terrorists named Javed Mangrio and Mumtaz Soomro, arrested from Tariq Road, also provided weapons to the terrorists to attack the stock exchange.
The suspects have confessed to several terrorist acts in the preliminary investigation. The accused should be requested to set up JITs from the concerned agencies for interrogation.
