Shazia Marri condemns assaulting journalist in Islamabad

Karachi ( HRNW) Central Information Secretary Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians and member of the National Assembly, Shazia Atta Marri has said that PPP strongly condemns the cowardly assault on a journalist Asad Ali Toor by unidentified assailants in Islamabad. She said cowardly assault on Asad Toor is a direct attack on the freedom of the press and it is highly condemnable act. This she expressed in her tweeter message hereon today. Shazia Marri said that the selected Prime Minister should ask his Interior Minister firstly to ensure the law and order of the capital city Islamabad which is actually his responsibility. She said that a transparent enquiry should be conducted to expose the assailants. Ms Marri further said that the involved elements in the attack on Assad Ali Toor should also be arrested immediately and brought to justice.
