Competition commission investigates sale of expensive milk in Karachi

Karachi: (HRNW) Milk is being sold expensively in Karachi. The Competition Commission’s investigation into the sale of expensive milk in Karachi has been completed.
According to the inquiry report, three major dairy associations in Karachi are involved in price fixing. According to the report, milk associations in Karachi sold milk at Rs 120 per liter by fixing the price.
Buying expensive milk cost Karachi consumers Rs. 13 crore per day and Rs. 47 billion annually. Consumers in Karachi have to pay higher prices for substandard milk.
