KARACHI: (HRNW) A micro-smart lockdown has been imposed for two weeks in different areas of Korangi and Central districts of Karachi in view of increasing cases of Corona virus.
In Korangi district, smart lockdown has been implemented at certain places of Saudabad besides Zaman Town, Nasir Colony, Bhattai Colony, Model Colony UC One and Three.
Deputy Commissioner Korangi said that the smart lockdown has been imposed at the behest of the District Health Officer. In Central District, Micro Smart Lockdown has been imposed in Gulberg Block 24, North Karachi Sector 17. Six in Liaquatabad Town and 18 in North Nazimabad.
The use of masks has been made mandatory for those coming and going in the affected areas. Unnecessary movement of citizens in these areas will also be banned. The micro-smart lockdown will last till July 26.
