Striker Jhon Cordoba is leaving Hertha Berlin to join Russian side FK Krasnodar, the Bundesliga club said on Sunday. The transfer, however, is still pending a medical exam.

According to media reports, Krasnodar will pay between 15 and 20 million euros (17.71 and 23.61 million dollars) for the player, but the fee hasn’t been confirmed by the clubs.

Cordoba moved to Hertha from Cologne last September and scored seven goals in the Bundesliga amid a season he struggled with long-term injuries.

Hertha coach Pal Dardai thanked Cordoba, saying: “Every goal he scored for Hertha was important.”
