KARACHI: (HRNW) PIA has announced to operate special flights to Iraq on the occasion of Ashura.
The national airline will operate direct flights from Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi to Najaf to facilitate visitors.
From August 11, 11 flights will reach Najaf Ashraf carrying the pilgrims. The return operation will begin on August 21. Special fares have also been introduced for visitors. PIA CEO Arshad Malik said that special flights would be operated on the special instructions of the government and the aviation minister to serve the visitors.
