KATI’s delegation visits Faizan Madinah

KARACHI:  (HRNW) A delegation led by Saleem Al-Zaman, President, Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI), visited Faizan Madina, the center of Islamic Da’wah in Karachi and reviewed the performance and arrangements of various departments there.
On this occasion, Member Shura Maulana Abdul Habib Attari briefed the delegation of KATI regarding the preaching and publishing of religion all over the world under the Islamic Da’wah and various fields.
KATI President Saleem-uz-Zaman while appreciating the initiatives of Dawa-e-Islami said that the service of Dawa-e-Islami in the country is commendable. Effective measures are being taken for the welfare of the people and emphasis is being laid on the service of humanity along with the preaching of religion.
President KATI said that Islam is the only religion that gives equal rights to every human being and inculcates moderation. In this regard, the role of Dawat-e-Islami is of utmost importance in promoting brotherhood and harmony in the country۔ This is what Islam has taught us that in the sight of Allah there is no small evil, only piety makes us unique, and piety comes from serving humanity and removing arrogance from oneself. He said that the society has improved due to the initiatives taken by the religious circles regarding thalassemia in the country, adding that they would work together to support and test for thalassemia.
President KATI said that at a time when the nation is facing an epidemic like Corona, the role of community scholars and elders in this regard is very important to urge the people to get .0vaccinated against the epidemic so that more people get vaccinated. Protect yourself and your family. He further said that more than 65,000 people have been vaccinated in Korangi industrial area.
Earlier, Abdul Habib Attari, a member of the Central Executive Committee of Dawat-e-Islami, introduced the religious and welfare activities under Dawat-e-Islami. He informed about the educational and organizational activities taking place in Faizan Madinah and apprised the delegation about the best way to render services in their institutions. He said that more than 1.5 Million people have been provided facilities in medical services in which more than Rs. 6 crore has been spent.
He further that if the industrialists provide basic Islamic teachings to the employees even in their business places and factories then the society will improve and Allah will reward them for it. Abdul Habib Attari said that Dawat-e-Islami has arranged food for 4 million people, has so far spent more than Rs 1 billion on Quranic teachings and other social activities۔
