Alhamra Completes preparations for the I Day celebrations

LAHORE: (HRNW) The Lahore Arts Council (Alhamra) completes preparations for Independence Day celebrations. The 75th Independence Day will be celebrated across the country, and anywhere the Pakistani community resides with traditional zeal and enthusiasm.
The Independence commemorative ceremonies started August 1 nationwide, and all-important buildings and monumental sights are decorated with buntings and lights to celebrate August 14. Likewise, Alhamra also wears a 30 feet long and 64 feet wide green crescent flag.
Regarding Alhamra’s I Day activities, Chairperson Board of Governors Lahore Arts Council Moneeza Hashmi said that the purpose of all the programs is to pay homage to Pakistan’s freedom fighters and remember all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives to gain freedom.
Director Art and Culture Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi said that Alhamra would celebrate this day with complete determination.
Executive Director LAC Farhat Jabeen said that we would not spare any sacrifice for the survival of our dear homeland; the focus of our services should be the development and prosperity of the country and the nation. Jabeen further said that Independence is a great blessing, and August 14 is a significant milestone in the history of Pakistan. Considering this day, Alhamra aims honestly wish to guard our country, and for that, we must fulfill our responsibilities, she added.
