Muzaffarabad (HRNW) Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry took oath as the President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Chief Justice of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Justice Raja Saeed Akram took oath.
Outgoing President Sardar Masood Khan also attended the swearing-in ceremony.
Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry was elected President of Azad Kashmir with 34 votes.
Opposition United Opposition candidate Mian Abdul Waheed polled 16 votes.
Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry has been elected the 28th President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
