Karachi (HRNW) After the rain in Karachi, the heat wave broke. Short duration rain in the city exposed the administration’s performance.
Citizens are facing problems due to accumulation of water on various roads in the city. Heavy or light rains in different parts of Karachi made the mood of the citizens pleasant.
It rained for the third day in Karachi. Even today it was hot in the morning but in the afternoon dark clouds came and the heat subsided. It had rained in different parts of the city during the last two days but today it rained in every part of the city.
According to the Meteorological Department, the highest rainfall of 41.2 mm was recorded in Saadi Town. While 33 on University Road, North Karachi 28.2, Jinnah Terminal 17.8 mm, Surjani 17.6, PAF Base Faisal 16.8, Masroor Base 16 mm, Old Airport 15.5, Kemari 12.7, DHA 11.6, Orangi Town 7.8 and Nazim Abad received 7.2 mm of rain.
