Suicide attack near FC vehicle in Quetta, 4 personnel martyred

QUETTA: (HRNW) Four FC personnel were martyred in a suicide attack near an FC vehicle in Mastung area of ​​Balochistan. The suicide attack took place near the FC’s Sona check post, killing four FC personnel and injuring 18 others, including 16 officers, DIG police said. The blast was so severe that 3 motorcycles and 3 vehicles parked nearby were also completely destroyed. The bodies have been shifted to Civil Hospital for first aid.
According to police, the suicide bomber targeted FC’s vehicle, which was on a routine patrol. The attack used 5 to 6 kg of explosives and ball bearings. The attacker hit the FC vehicle on a motorcycle.
The scene has been sealed off by law enforcement since the attack, while a bomb disposal squad has collected vital evidence from the scene. It is also worth mentioning that this is a highway through which most of the passenger coaches and buses pass.
Reacting to the suicide attack, Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid said that terrorist incidents have been taking place in Quetta for a long time. Attempts are being made to put pressure on Pakistan. Pakistan will come out of this pressure and play an important role in the region.
