Islamabad (HRNW) PPP central secretary for information Shazia Murree has said that the draft NAB ordinance is a plan to save government ministers and advisers. Extending the term of Chairman NAB through this ordinance is an affront to the Constitution and the law. What is the compulsion or emergency that is being extended through the ordinance?
Shazia Murree said that the current chairman NAB has become controversial by giving relief to government ministers and advisers. No action has been taken on any scandal including Imran Khan’s helicopter case, Malam Jabba scandal, Peshawar BRT, Rawalpindi Ring Road and the ordinance. Is preparing to provide relief to government members involved in Pandora Papers.
He said that the post of Chief Justice of Pakistan was also being made controversial in this ordinance, accountability should be the same for all which is not seen in this ordinance.
He further said that PPP rejects every decision taken against the spirit of constitution and law.
