Frankfurt can welcome 35,000 fans for EL game against Olympiakos

Eintracht Frankfurt can welcome up to 35,000 fans for their next Europa League home game against Olympiakos, the German club said on Saturday.

Frankfurt said local health authorities have agreed to this figure which can include up to five per cent, or 1,750 fans, who have a negative PCR coronavirus test not older than 48 hours.

All other fans must be either vaccinated or recovered from a coronavirus infection to attend the October 21 game.

The number is 10,000 more than the 25,000 that were allowed to attend their group opener against Fenerbahce in September.
