Karachi (HRNW): A dacoit shot dead a civilian while resisting a robbery in Awami Colony area of Korangi. According to SSP Korangi, the victim was identified as 27-year-old Jamil.
An eyewitness said that the unidentified robbers were looting from the textile factory and fleeing. The accused stopped Jamil and tried to rob him as well. When Jamil resisted, the robbers shot him in the chest and fled. According to police sources, the deceased was a government official.
