Flour prices will come down significantly after Sindh government releases wheat. Mukesh Kumar Chawla

Karachi (HRNW) Provincial Minister for Excise & Taxation and Narcotics Control Department & Parliamentary Affairs & Food Mukesh Kumar Chawla has termed Sindh Governor Dr Imran Ismail’s statement on flour prices in Sindh as his ignorance and said that for the last several years, Sindh government release wheat in the last of October and he hopes that as soon as wheat is released, flour prices in Sindh will come down significantly. He said in a statement that even today a kilo of flour is being sold in Punjab for Rs. 75 while Punjab has the highest production of wheat.

Provincial Minister for Food Mukesh Kumar Chawla said that Governor Sindh made a statement against Sindh government for scoring his political points without getting any information. He said that the government of Sindh had an abundance of wheat as per the requirement of its people. Provincial Minister for Excise & Taxation and Narcotics Control Department & Parliamentary Affairs & Food Mukesh Kumar Chawla said that as far as inflation is concerned, the prices of sugar, petrol and other food items are federal government’ s domain, has federal government controlled the prices of these items? The people are under the heavy burden of inflation but the federal government has no interest in the plight of the poor.
