Nagelsmann wants to keep emotional aspect high at Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann believes the club benefits from having a positive emotional atmosphere and wants to build on that during his reign as boss.

“Bayern has been characterized by a family atmosphere for years,” Nagelsmann told the WAZ paper on Saturday. “We’re a club close to our fans and internally it’s also important for me that we have a good atmosphere, that staff in the accounting department are also happy about victories and sad about defeats.

“You need a human connection for that and not a vacuum in which the professional [football] department is decoupled from the staff.”

This is from his point a view “a real plus of Bayern and it has to remain because we’re possibly going to find it hard to compete financially with English or other investor-backed clubs in the next decades.”
