PM Imran Khan arrives in Madinah to kick off three-day trip to Saudi Arabia

Madinah (HRNW) Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in the holy city of Madinah on a three-day trip to the kingdom, said his office on Saturday.

“Prime Minister Imran Khan arrives in Madinah on three-day official visit to Saudi Arabia,” tweeted the PM Office.

Deputy Governor of Madinah Prince Saud bin Khalid Al-Faisal received the PM on his arrival and was “given a warm reception”, said the PMO.

Earlier in the day, PM Imran had left for a three-day trip to Saudi Arabia to attend the launch ceremony of the Middle East Green Initiative (MGI) Summit.

The premier is visiting the kingdom at the invitation of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz. Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Energy Minister Hamad Azhar, Special Assistant to PM Imran Khan on Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam and other cabinet members are also with him on the trip.
