PM Imran Khan prays for peace and prosperity of Pakistan

MAKKAH: (HRNW)  Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday prayed for the peace and prosperity of Pakistan as he performed Umrah, along with first lady Bushra Bibi and other ministers, during his three-day trip to Saudi Arabia.

In a video shared by the Prime Minister Office (PMO), the premier was seen in an ihram (a cloth that Muslim pilgrims wear during Hajj and Umrah) at the Masjid Al Haram in Makkah.

The state news agency, APP, reported that PM Imran prayed for peace and prosperity of Pakistan as well as the Muslim ummah. The PM had arrived in Makkah via Jeddah.

Upon his arrival, PM Imran was received by Deputy Governor Makkah region Prince Badar bin Sultan Al Saud. the two also had a meeting at the Royal Terminal of King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah.

PM Imran had kicked off his three-day trip to Saudi Arabia by making his first stop at Madinah, said his office.

“Prime Minister Imran Khan arrives in Madinah on a three-day official visit to Saudi Arabia,” tweeted the PM Office.
