223 new cases of corona, 4 deaths in Sindh today

Karachi (HRNW) Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in a statement on the status of Corona virus said that 11478 samples were tested in the last 24 hours, as a result of which 223 new cases were reported.

There have been four more deaths in the last 24 hours, he said. Thus, the total number of deaths remains at 7555. Today, 233 more patients have recovered, bringing the total number of recovered people to 447981.

The Chief Minister said that so far 6342904 samples have been tested and 467426 cases have been reported so far. Currently 11890 patients are undergoing treatment. Out of which 11638 houses, 27 isolation centers and 225 patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals.

He said that the condition of 224 patients was reported to be critical. While 14 patients are on ventilators.

The Chief Minister said that out of 223 new cases in the province, 48 were related to Karachi. There are 29 cases in East District, 7 in South District, 4-4 in Central and Malir District, 2-2 in Korangi and West.
