Decision to demolish Nasla Tower is up to the court, we do not agree: Murtaza Wahab

Karachi (HRNW) Administrator Karachi Murtaza Wahab has said that the decision to demolish Nasla Tower is a court decision, Sindh government does not agree with this decision.

Murtaza Wahab said that there is an impression that all powers are with the Sindh government but this is not true. Should I take action against those who have done wrong to KMC in the past?

He said that the court had also ruled on the buildings of other institutions. Ask the court why this decision is not implemented. I would prefer to work, I want to work and by working I will put this organization on its feet.

Administrator Karachi said that if people try to take action, they get restraining order from the court. When actions are taken against mafia, they are intimidated. I was also threatened.

Murtaza Wahab said that I want the resources of KMC to be increased. When we go to collect taxes, Asad Umar and Imran Ismail come in the middle.

“Yesterday I was summoned by the Chief Justice to the Supreme Court. I was asked questions about what was going on in Karachi. I tried to answer the questions asked by the Supreme Court but I was not allowed to speak in the court,” he said. If given, it would tell what KMC did.
