Success stories of persons with disabilities are very encouraging: Sadiq Ali Memon

Karachi. (HRNW)  Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Sindh Sadiq Ali Memon has said that successful stories of persons with disabilities are always encouraging not only for their own fellows but also for ordinary people. These stories must be narrated at all level to encourage these persons with disabilities. This he said while speaking as a chief guest in launching ceremony of book ‘ Soulful Journey ( Success Stories of KVTC) written by Prem Sagar here on Saturday at Karachi Vocational Training Centre. On this occasion the writer of the book Prem Sagar and CEO of KTVC Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan also shared their experiences and feelings.

SACM on DEPD Sadiq Ali Memon added, ‘ Sindh Government is also committed to provide better health care, education, rehabilitation and vocational training to the persons with disabilities in order to enable them to live an independent life with dignity’. He said that it was imperative to provide vocational training to these persons with disabilities so that they could live a better life and provision of vocational training would also discourage begging practices in differently abled persons.

Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Sindh Sadiq Ali Memon said that there is a need to change mind set regarding persons with disabilities and we should consider them as an important part of the society and must provide an environment of learning various trades to them. On this occasion SACM on DEPD Sadiq Ali Memon also visited various parts of the KVTC and CEO KVTC Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan briefed him about vocational trainings, being provided there. SACM Sadiq Ali Memon appreciated the performance of the KVTC.
