PM Imran holds consultation meeting to assess legalities of APS case

ISLAMABAD: (HRNW) After the Supreme Court gave a four-week deadline to the government to submit a progress report in the Army Public School Peshawar (APS) attack case on Wednesday, Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a high-level meeting in the capital and discussed the legalities of the case.

During the meeting, Attorney General Khalid Jawed Khan outlined the decision of the SC and Adviser to PM Parliamentary Affairs Dr Babar Awan also apprised the participants about the legal aspects of the case.

According to sources, federal ministers were also present in the meeting and deliberated over the case.

“Martyrs are our greatest pride,” PM Imran told the participants of the meeting adding that the incumbent government would fulfill its constitutional duties in the case.

The premier said that he would fully abide by the orders of the top court.
