PM orders action against officers for faking complaints, resolution at Citizen Portal

ISLAMABAD: (HRNW) Prime Minister Imran Khan Saturday directed the authorities concerned to take action against the government officers who were faking complaints registration and resolution at Pakistan Citizen Portal to show increased satisfaction of the citizens at their respective dashboards.

“I personally monitor public complaints at Citizen Portal. No laxity will be tolerated in the resolution of public complaints. No leniency will be shown towards the officers faking resolution of public complaints,” said the prime minister.

The Prime Minister Delivery Unit (PMDU) also compiled an investigation report on the dashboards of 254 officers regarding frivolous complaints.

The unit had investigated the dashboards of 154 officers in Punjab, 86 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), three in Sindh and 11 in the federal government.

The probe found 44 Punjab officers involved in fake complaints, following which the chief secretary of the province took actions against them. The K-P chief secretary also acted against 39 government officers and suspended them.
