PPP nationwide protest against inflation

Karachi (HRNW)  Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) staged protests in different cities of the country against inflation. During this time rallies were called and sit-ins were called. Protesters called for measures to reduce inflation.

Addressing the protesters in Karachi, provincial minister Saeed Ghani said that a federal minister had asked the assembly where many tons of wheat had gone. I don’t know, your Prime Minister knows where that wheat went. If the Chinese commission report is implemented, many cabinet ministers will be in jail.

During the protest in Hyderabad, PPP leaders Maula Bakhsh Chandio and Nisar Khorro also addressed the protesters.

Protests were staged in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Sukkur, Shahdadkot, Ratodero, Ghotki and Tharparkar against the inflation while workers staged a sit-in on the Indus Highway in Larkana.

In addition, rallies were held in Harnai against inflation while demonstrations were also held in Astor and Mirpur Azad Kashmir.
