Karachi (HRNW) Sindh Information Minister Saeed Ghani has said that houses and shops along drains in Karachi should be removed and the victims should be given alternatives.
Talking about the site of the blast in Sher Shah, Saeed Ghani said that it was not permissible to build buildings on drains in Karachi. The real culprits in the construction of the canals are the builders.
He said that he had said in the assembly that houses built on drains would not be regularized. Action should be taken against all those who have built on the canals, be it Saeed Ghani or Mustafa Kamal.
Saeed Ghani said that the building where the private bank was located was constructed and rented by the Site Association.
