Children with disabilities also have the right to share in happiness: Sadiq Memon.

Karachi (HRNW)  Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Sindh Sadiq Ali Memon has said that children with disabilities also have the right to share in the joys. Persons with disabilities should be included on all special occasions to encourage them. Sindh government is taking effective measures for the welfare of persons with disabilities and the role of the private sector in this regard is also excellent. He said this while visiting Dar us Sukun Karachi on the eve of Christmas. Dar Al-Sukun’s Chief Executive Officer Anna Daniel and Manager HR Tariq Sanbal were also present on the occasion.

SACM on DEPD Sadiq Ali Memon visited different parts of Darul Sukun and appreciated the facilities provided to special children. He also cut Christmas cake and mingled with children with disabilities. CEO Anna Danial briefed Sadiq Ali Memon about the performance of the institute and said that it was established in 1969 and at present about 465 children were being provided all facilities round the clock.

SACM Sadiq Ali Memon added, ‘ Children with disabilities are an integral part of society and we should provide them protection, care and medical facilities ‘ . He said that it was a matter of great pleasure that the private sector was providing facilities to the special children and his department was fully prepared to cooperate with private sector.

Sadiq Ali Memon said that extra-curricular activities increase the confidence of children with disabilities and he was very happy to see these children happy. “Unless all stakeholders in society give these differently abled people a chance to move forward, there will be no real change,” he concluded.
