Special Recovery Teams assigned to recover property tax from chronic defaulters. Mukesh Kumar Chwala

Karachi. (HRNW)  Sindh minister for Excise & Taxation and Narcotics Control Department & Parliamentary Affairs & Food Mukesh Kumar Chwala has said that special recovery teams are being constituted to recover property tax from chronic defaulters having arrears of five lacs and above. Besiding imposing fines, a legal will also be initiated against chronic defaulters. This he said while presiding over a meeting here in his office. Secretary ET & NC Department Atif Rehman, Director Generals Aurangzeb Akbar Phanwar, Iqbal Ahmed Laghari, Director Taxes -I Stamina Bhutto and other officers also attended the meeting.

He also asked the officers to make tireless efforts to achieve targets till the end of current financial year and departmental action would also be taken against those officers who would not be able to achieve their targets.

Provincial Minister for ET & NC Department & Parliamentary Affairs and Food Mukesh Kumar Chwala directed all ETOs ( Property Tax) to communicate and liaison with the NBP branches located in their jurisdiction to ensure payment through I Link.
He said that it was our prime duty to work hard and generate revenue for the government and all measures must be taken within legal frame work.
