Lahore (HRNW) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) visited Headquarters Lahore Corps today. COAS was briefed on various matters of the formation. Later, COAS interacted with VC’s, faculty and students of LUMS, FCU, UET, LSE, PU and GCU. COAS appreciated the role of these premier educational institutions in preparing the the future leadership and useful citizens . COAS said that there is dire need of human development in the fields of education, health, infrastructure and environment. COAS emphasised that the spreading misinformation not only effecting perception management but also threatening integrity of state . COAS stressed on the need to counter disinformation campaign and stay united in order to thwart designs of hostile forces.
Lieutenant General Muhammad Abdul Aziz, Commander Lahore Corps was also present during the session .
