Development projects have been started in Hyderabad / Kotri Industrial Zones: Ikram Allah Dharejo

Karachi (HRNW) Provincial Minister for Industries & Commerce and Cooperative Department Jam Ikramullah Dharejo has said that development projects are being carried out in Hyderabad and Kotri Industrial Areas at a cost of Rs. 291 million. He said this while talking to representatives of Hyderabad, Kotri and Jamshoro Chambers of Commerce at his office Sindh Secretariat here today. Secretary Industries Amir Khurshid and MD Site Munawar Mahesar were also present in the meeting
while the representatives of the chambers include Saman Mal, Faheem Noorwala, Amir Shehab,
Khalil Baloch, Farrukh Khan and Tauqeer Tariq also attended the meeting.

Provincial Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharejo further said that the development projects are underway in Kotri Industrial Area at a cost of Rs. 176 million while
development projects are being carried out in Hyderabad Industrial Area at a cost of Rs. 115 million. He said, ‘ Flourishing of sports goods industries in Jamshoro Industrial Area is a good sign. The provision of fire tender to Kotri Industrial Area will be made possible. There is a need to maintain co-ordination between officers and industrialists.

Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said that encroachments in Kotri, Hyderabad and Jamshoro Industrial Areas would be removed at earliest. He aslo asked the representatives of the Chambers to accelerate tree planting campaign in industrial zones. He said that industrial development is the need of the hour. The problems of the industrialists will be solved on priority basis.

Provincial Minister for Industries & Commerce and Cooperative Department Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said that he would soon visit all the industrial zones himself and would monitor the ground realities. Drainage is an important issue in the industrial zones.
To solve this problem, it is important that no roads in industrial zones be built without drainage. Jam Ikramullah Dharejo directed the officers to ensure transparency in development projects and the would not tolerate any negligence in this regard.
