Completion of Malir Expressway will reduce burden of traff in Karachi: Qasim Naveed Qamar

Karachi (HRNW) Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Investment Department and Public Private Partnership Projects Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar has said that Malir Expressway Project is one of the most important projects, launched under PPP node and its completion will help reduce the problems of the people and will also reduce the burden of the traffic in metropolitan city because it is connected with M-9. This he said while presiding over a meeting here in Sindh Finance Department on Wednesday. DG PPP unit Shahab Qamar Ansari, Project Director Niaz Soomro, Director -I Dr. M.B. Raja Dharejo, Director Finance PPP Unit Yasir Khokhar, MPAs Yousuf Baloch, Saleem Baloch and other stakeholders also attended the meeting. It was briefied that there were number of issues but these issues would be resolved amicably and local population would not be disturbed. It was also briefed that there were six interchanges which would be useful for the people.

SACM Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar asked them to hire local people in the project so that the grievances of the people should be addressed. He asked them to build service road for access of machinery for the projects and ensure that flood water should not create problems for the local people and if necessary the displacement would be made, otherwise they should not be disturbed.

SACM on Investment Department and PPPP Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar said that Sindh Government was fully committed to facilitate the people and land issues in completion of this project would resolved on priority basis. He said that we were here to facilitate the people not to disturb them.
