Karachi (HRNW) A dacoit was killed in a police encounter in Karachi’s Site Area.
According to police, two robbers on motorcycles were engaged in looting near Habib Bank Chowrangi in the site area. Meanwhile, patrol personnel also arrived. A dacoit was injured in the exchange of fire while his accomplice escaped.
One civilian was also injured in the firing while the injured dacoit died on the way to the hospital.
Weapons have been recovered from the possession of the accused while search for the escaped dacoit is on.
