Asif Zardari sought support from Sirajul Haq on the no-confidence motion

Lahore: (HRNW)  The activities of opposition parties have intensified to bring down the PTI government.
Opposition parties have stated they will not run in the by-elections, but will continue to hold political talks.
In this regard, former President Asif Ali Zardari called on Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Siraj-ul-Haq at the party’s headquarters in Mansoura. Asif Ali Zardari sought support from Jamaat-e-Islami on the no-confidence motion. One vote of Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali, Member National Assembly of Jamaat-e-Islami in Parliament has gained importance.
A one-point agenda between the Jamaat-e-Islami and the PPP was discussed in Parliament in support of the no-confidence motion. The meeting discussed the current political situation, including the decisive movement against the government and the Long March.
After the meeting of Asif Ali Zardari, a meeting of the Central Majlis-e-Shura of Jamaat-e-Islami will be held which will continue till February 27. The meeting will decide whether to join the anti-government movement or not.
Earlier in the day, Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Asif Ali Zardari had met him at the invitation of PML-N leader Shahbaz Sharif in which they discussed ways to intensify efforts to overthrow the PTI government and make the no-confidence motion a success. Was gone
