ISLAMABAD: (HRNW) Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Vice-President Senator Sherry Rehman on Friday said Prime Minister Imran Khan had no choice but to accept the defeat and step down.
“Imran Khan is misstating, this is not a battle of good and evil. It is a battle between those who violate the Constitution and those who abide by it. This is a battle between the anti-people government and the pro-people opposition.
“Those who criticized democracy are now telling people to come out and support democracy. Today it will be known who upholds democracy and the constitution,” Sherry Rehman tweeted.
She asked how those, who used delaying tactics to avoid defeat, could promote goodness and democracy. She said the government could not escape after inciting the people to anarchy.
