After PM, no-confidence motion submitted against Punjab CM Buzdar

Lahore (HRNW) After Prime Minister Imran Khan, the opposition parties in Punjab have submitted a no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.

Pakistan Muslim League-N (PMLN) leaders Rana Mashood, Samiullah, Mian Naseer and others submitted the motion with the assembly secretariat.

PML-N’s Rana Mashood said the Pakistan peoples Party and PMLN have signed the motion, while the government’s ally Pakistan Muslim League-Q and Independent members are in contact with the opposition.

“Today the motion is submitted [and the] speaker shahab is bound by the constitution to call the session within 14 days and take up the resolution.”

He added the no-confidence motion against CM Buzdar is part of the plan which includes the removal of the prime minister, the chief minister, Senate chairman and the National Assembly speaker.
