Development schemes to be completed in new financial year: Murad Ali Shah

KARACHI: (HRNW) Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has directed to complete the ongoing development works in the new financial year. The new financial year will be the year of completion of most of the ongoing schemes.
A meeting of the Works and Services Department chaired by the Chief Minister discussed the new financial year 23-2022.
The meeting was attended by Provincial Minister Zia Abbas Shah, Chief Secretary, Chairman Planning and Development (P&D) Hassan Naqvi, Principal Secretary Sajid Jamal Abro, Secretary Works Imran Ata Soomro, Special Secretary Rahim Soomro and other concerned officials.
The Chief Minister directed to start new irrigation schemes. The briefing said that 530 works and services schemes are underway at a cost of Rs. 27.9 billion.
There are 425 schemes of local government at a cost of Rs. 225 billion, 198 schemes of health department at a cost of Rs. 11.23 billion and 42 schemes of rural development at a cost of Rs. 920 million.
The meeting directed the Chairman Planning and Development (P&D) to check the quality and speed of work of the ongoing schemes.
